While in law school, Tim interned for one summer at Gallagher & Kennedy, where he was able to acquaint himself with all aspects of the firm’s practice, including: drafting demand letters, pleadings, and memoranda concerning anti-trust litigation, commercial property disputes, commercial contract litigation, personal injury and wrongful death actions, and criminal defense.
Tim graduated from the Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, in 2022. Tim’s law school experience included a judicial externship with the United States Bankruptcy Court, EDNY, Brooklyn, NY, for the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong. He is an alumnus of Ohio University, where he received a Master of Business Administration in Finance in 2017, and Bridgewater College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting in 2010. Tim was a member of the Bridgewater Eagles football team, the 2009 ODAC All-Academic Team, and the 2009 All-ODAC Second Team.
Tim is a Certified Public Accountant. He worked at Barings, LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina, a global investment firm, where he oversaw financial reporting of portfolio companies and investor funds, calculated investor returns and prepared investor reporting, managed Fund cash accounts to optimize Investor IRRs, communicated with portfolio company controllers and CFOs regarding accounting policy and ensuring on-time deliverables, and interpreted partnership agreements and created automated calculations for investor allocations and distribution waterfalls. Additionally, Tim has provided corporate accounting and finance consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies at The Siegfried Group, LLP, Washington, D.C.
